A 3-hour in-depth oil painting lesson scheduled at a day and time that is mutually convenient, in a location near Nutley, NJ.

In this class, we will explore the possibilities of oil paints, including the basics of the materials and mediums involved. Working on a simple still-life set up, I will give instruction on paint application, drawing, value, composition, and color mixing. In general, I guide you in creating a small oil painting, and help you deal with obstacles or confusions that may arise in the process.

An emphasis will be placed on having fun, making mistakes, and releasing the burden of perfectionism. All materials provided.
